ECON 372 Contemporary Japanese Economy (3)
Prerequisite: 102 or 104. The course provides an objective analysis of the causes and consequences of the post-war Japanese economic development. It examines the historical and institutional background of the contemporary Japanese economy and brings global economic perspective to bear on the U.S.—Japan economic relationship. The course concludes with an assessment of the lessons learned from the Japanese model and its relevance to the U.S. economy. |
