The Community Action Council of Tulane University Students is one of the oldest and largest student-run community service organizations in the nation. We bridge the gap between Tulane students and the greater New Orleans community, while providing a valuable service to both groups.
Do you want to volunteer and help make a difference in the New Orleans Community? Then join CACTUS to participate in our various programs. You can work with children in the New Orleans Public School System, build relationships with hospital patients, break a sweat with Habitat for Humanity, or participate in one of our other 25+ weekly projects. Check out our project lists for more information on specific projects.
You can find us in the student organizations office on the second floor of the Central Building. Feel free to stop by our office! We will be happy to answer any questions you might have! You can also sign up or get more information about any of our weekly projects or special events at the office.
