TUHSC parking permits, with the exception of the grey "evening" permits, are valid on the uptown campus. This currently applied to series 2000, 95 and 90 permits. Faculty permits ("F" designation) are valid in faculty parking areas (Blue zones) in addition to regular Green and Yellow zones. See the uptown campus parking regulations for additional information. Open parking spaces are very difficult to find between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. We suggest using the Uptown Square parking lot and taking the shuttle to campus (see below).

The Uptown Square shuttle runs continuously on a 20-minute schedule from 7:40 a.m. until 5:50 p.m. (After 5:50, the Tulane Off-Campus Shuttle is available for drop-offs at Uptown Square.) Uptown Square is located on Broadway St. at the River (200 Broadway St.), and is the location of the Tulane Family Health Center. The shuttle picks up passengers at Uptown Square near the entrance to the Family Health Center. Passengers may be dropped off at any point along Law Road or at the Freret St. stop across from Stern Hall. [see a map]

Courtesy Parking Cards: Upon written request by HSC departments, Parking Services (588-5577) issues courtesy parking cards for faculty or staff who have fairly routine meetings or other official University business at the Health Sciences Center, including uptown campus faculty. Courtesy parking cards may be issued for a limited time period or remain active unless the parker is notified otherwise by the department or Parking Services. Costs are charged to the requesting department.

Validated parking vouchers: These vouchers may be issued on request by the department organizing the meeting on a date and function-specific basis. They are intended for use by guest lecturers, VIP visitors, Board Meeting participants, or special event functions. Costs are charged back to the requesting department.
