 The
Department of Conference Services hosts a wide range of support services
for visiting guests as well as on-campus departments. Our multi-purpose
facilty is located in the Collins C. Diboll Complex and is available year-
round. This facility can seat up to 200 participants reception style; 180
participants lecture style; 130 participants classroom/workshop style;
or 120 participants banquet style.
The Diboll Space can be divided into one, two, or four meeting rooms, the smallest being ideal for business meetings of 10 to 25 participants in a U-shape or O-shape. Within the facility there is also a comfortable lounge, a phone bank, and a small catering kitchen at no extra charge. Our facility is equipped with four wireless microphones with sixteen speakers installed in the ceiling for surround sound, wireless Internet, telenet connections, phone-line access, and cable television (note: your wireless card has to be registered on the campus network). In cooperation with Innovative Learning Center, we offer satellite down-link for teleconferences. Conference Services has a variety of audio/visual equipment that includes overhead projectors, slide projectors, screens, white boards, TV/VCR combinations, LCD Projector, and a conference phone. This equipment is available for a nominal fee with Diboll room rentals. |
