Since
the summer of 1999, the Tulane Office of Environmental Affairs has
provided assistance to the many environmental efforts undertaken
by Tulane departments, offices and programs. With a largely student
staff, we promote recycling, energy efficiency, and alternative
transportation options across the Tulane community. We also research
and develop new programs to help "green" the Tulane campus.

Change at Tulane University," the honors thesis that launched
this office.
Our
office is located in Alcee
Fortier Hall, a building renovated with environmentally friendly
features in the late 1990s. Alcee Fortier houses a number of environmental
research, education and student programs.
