Currently this portion of the e-pedagogy site is devoted to links with online information on calls for papers, presentations and instructional materials for conferences dealing with information technology and teaching. Conferences are organized chronologically from upcoming to most recent and past. I will post other events as the information becomes available. April 8-10, 2001 Mid-South Instructional Technology Conference 2001 (Middle TN State U, Murfreesboro, Tennessee): site has CFP and link to previous conferences which have a number of complete presentations online. November 35, 2000 ALN (Asynchronous Learning Networks) 2000: Building Sustainable Online Learning Environments (Adelphi, Maryland): site includes CFP and conference proceedings. Link to 1999 conference with online proceedings. Oct. 10-13, 2000 Educause 2000 (Nashville, TN): site includes registration info for this year and link to archives with past year proceedings which include papers, audio/video, and supplemental materials. July 22-28, 2000 Syllabus 2000 The Premier Conference on Technology and Education (Santa Clara, CA): a conference "for educators who use technology in teaching or administration. The Syllabus conference is the only conference that encompasses the entire spectrum of educational institutions from high schools through higher education and graduate programs." Conference (and site) are corporate industry heavy. Links to participant bios, brief abstracts, exhibitor information. June 26-July 1, 2000 Ed-Media: World Conference on Educational Multimedia, Hypermedia & Telecommunications (Montreal, Quebec, Canada): site includes search page for individual presenters, no abstracts for this year. Programs and presentations from previous conference dates are included, along with the text of keynote and invited participants as well as a conference report and extensive addendum. June 26-28, 2000 National Educational Computing Association (NECA) Conference (Atlanta, GA): site includes a section showcasing wonderful student projects, abstracts with some extended background online, program and workshop information. May 25-28, 2000 Computers and Writing 2000 (Ft. Worth, TX): includes abstracts, links out to presenters' projects, and archives of prior CW conferences. This year's conference has an online companion conference to take place over listservs and MOOs running from March 15-June 2000--join in! May 5-7, 2000 New Information Technologies and Liberal Education (Furman, SC): not much information on the site, but under "Proceedings" it is announced that "selected and edited digital proceedings will appear as an issue of the Journal of Electronic Publishing, published by the University of Michigan Press." April 14, 2000 Teaching with Technology Conference 2000 (U Maryland): site includes abstracts, some with outside links to teaching projects and programs. <TOP> |
