Pedagogy
The primary goal of FLITE is to assist foreign language instructors in the development of multimedia materials for use in class. These materials may range from a course web site, complete with a chat room and online quizzes, to digitized video and audio formatted for computer projection. In order to ease the learning curve of multimedia development, FLITE also offers instructional seminars in conjunction with the Innnovative Learning Center (ILC).
Research
FLITE is especially interested in helping faculty develop research projects with technological elements, and in researching grants for the implementation of such projects.
