Taxonomy:

In conjunction with many other collaborators, funded by an NSF Biotic Surveys and Inventories grant, I will be working at the Yanayacu biological station in Ecuador in 2005. We will be using rearing as a method of collecting unknown or undescribed species of lepidoptera and their parasitoids. At the same time we will be collecting the interactions between parasitoids, herbivores, and host plants, some of which may be useful as model systems in future work.

In general I am interested in the taxonomy of the Diptera, particularly the Tachinidae
