Holidays and Summer: Call for hours of operation.

Services:  Nutrition services provides counseling on weight maintenance, eating issues, eating disorders, body image, vegetarian and vegan food plans, food allergies and intolerance, sensible physical activity and many other topics.    Services are provided by Registered Dietitians (RDs), who are also Licensed Nutritionists (LDNs) accredited by the Louisiana Board of Examiners in Dietetics and Nutrition.   Registered dietitians (nutritionists) can help by:
  • Providing feedback about your food choices and eating patterns;
  • Working with you to identify and set specific goals;
  • Helping you design a personalized eating plan;
  • Offering information to help you separate fact from fiction.
  • Provide measurement of Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) using MedGemIndirect Calorimetry (The RMR measurement is scheduled through the SHC Lab - 865-5255, 240)
