PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
The Student Health Center (Uptown) staff cares for the
well-being of all Tulane students. We believe that to be effective the effort
must be a partnership with the patient and the health care team working
together. You will be expected, within the limits of your abilities, to share in
the responsibility for your health care.
- You have the responsibility to keep appointments or to
telephone the Student Health Center (Uptown) when you cannot keep a scheduled
appointment.
- You have the responsibility to provide information
about past illnesses, hospitalizations, medications, and other matters
relating to your health to the best of your ability.
- You have the responsibility to cooperate with all
Student Health Center (Uptown) personnel caring for you, and to ask questions
if you do not understand any information given you.
- You have the responsibility to be respectful of others,
of other people's property, and that of the Student Health Center (Uptown).
- You have the responsibility to abide by Student Health
Center (Uptown) rules and regulations.
- You have the responsibility to act in consideration of
the health of others.
