NOTICE:   The Student Health Center (Uptown) Weekend Clinic is closed on Sundays.

Location: The Weekend Clinic is located on the second floor of the Student Health Center (Uptown).

Phone: (504) 865-5255, extension 1.

Hours:

Saturday - ONLY    9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Sundays, Holidays, and Summer: CLOSED.

Services: Our Primary Care physicians see students as walk-in patients.

Walk-In Patients:

Those students who walk-in to the Weekend Clinic will be seen as soon as possible by one of the Primary Care staff. These patients will be seen in the order of arrival. Bring a book since many students arrive at the same time and this means you will have to wait.

Other Important Information:

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for you to check in and the nurse to take your vital signs.

Treatment for Visitors:

People from out of town who are visiting either the campus or a student can be seen in the Primary Care Clinic or Weekend Clinic if:

  • The visitor is a friend of a student from out of town or is a family member from outside the New Orleans area who is visiting the student and the visitor is accompanied by an eligible student from Tulane who indicates that person is visiting with the Tulane student.
  • The visitor is a high school student touring the campus as arranged by the Admissions Office.
  • The visitor has a Tulane Mardi Gras Visitor's ID during that weekend.
  • Out of town family members visiting for brief periods of time who require short term prescription refills or minor treatment.

We will provide professional services to these patients during the school year at no charge.
