| Benefits | New Employee Orientation New Employee Orientation is usually held every Tuesday in either McAlister Auditorium in the Favrot room (uptown) or in the Elk Place 5th floor conference room (downtown). Times are 9:00 am to 12:30 noon in McAlister Auditorium and 8:30 am to 3:00 pm in the 5th floor conference room. The purpose of new employee orientation is to introduce new employees to Tulane University. During this time you will meet members of the Human Resources staff and other new employees.You will receive information on policies and procedures at Tulane University, and you will be introduced to the benefits packages and asked to make elections for coverage. All employees at Tulane University are asked to attend orientation within their first 30 days of employment. Can't wait for an orientation session?
