Newcomb-Tulane students interested in studying abroad should:
1. Review Study Abroad Policies: Start by reviewing Tulane's study abroad policies. They will provide a framework and reference from which to select a program.
2. Investigate Program Options: Next, scour the program information on the web pages in the lefthand column. Be sure to pay attention to Eligibility Requirements, Length of Program, and follow the links to the program's own web site.
3. Seek Advice: Once you have some information in hand you can talk with recent study abroad alumni, OSA peer advisors, and the study abroad advisor in the OSA, attend an info session or the study abroad fair.
4. Review Details on the Following: Public Service Abroad; Sustainability, Cultural Responsibility & Environmental Impact; Scholarships.
5. Begin the Application Process: Visit the "How to Apply" section to learn how to start applying for study abroad.
6. Follow the Steps for Accepted Students: It is wise to be prepared for the obligations and expectations if your application to study abroad is approved.
