Henry Kim completed his Ph.D. in Political Science in 1996, under the direction of Professor David Clinton. Dr. Kim has made his career since at Gyeongsang National University of Korea. He has served previously as Department Chair and Chair of the Graduate Program in Political Science. In 2006/2007, he was a Fulbright Lecturer and Research Professor at the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University. His research interests focus on international relations and security, applied specifically to Korea and Japan. His articles have appeared in The International Politics Journal and The 21st Century Political Science Journal. He is the coauthor, with Wonho Cho, of a forthcoming book on Korea as a “hub nation” in Northeast Asia, to be published by Busan Press.
