Spring 2003 Officers @ PSA... How to join us @ PSA... Pi Sigma Alpha has a two-tiered membership system. Full members are those who have completed at least twelve credits in political science coursework, of which, at least one course was at the 300 level or above. They must be declared political science majors or minors and have at least a 3.0 or greater grade point average within the major. In addition, they must have an overall GPA sufficient to rank them within the upper one-third of their graduating class. These members will be formally inducted into the organization and receive all benefits that are afforded to full members. Affiliate members are those who either anticipate becoming full members once they meet the requirements or those with a strong interest in political science who have not achieved the level of proficiency required for full membership. Affiliate members are welcome at all meetings and events. There is a one time payment of dues necessary to be inducted. Individuals with financial constraints are encouraged to speak with the Faculty Advisor or President so that finances do not limit anyone's ability to become a member.
