System Requirements

McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0i

  • Processor running at a minimum of 166MHz.
  • Operating system
    • For desktop computers running: Windows NT 4.0; Windows 2000 Professional; Windows XP
    • For servers running: Windows NT 4.0 Server; Windows 2000 Server; Windows Server 2003; Microsoft Cluster Server
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 5.0 or later.
  • 32MB RAM minimum.
  • Adequate hard disk space.
  • 62 MB of hard disk space — A complete installation of all the program’s features and components occupies approximately 38MB of disk space on your computer. The installation process uses an additional 22MB of temporary disk space, which is freed when the installation is complete.
  • A CD-ROM drive or an Internet connection.
