Gilberto Gil at Tulane

On May 13, 2006 world-renowned musician and Minister of Culture of Brazil, Gilberto Gil, received an honorary degree from Tulane University. While in New Orleans, he visited some of the areas most devastated by Hurricane Katrina, delivered a lecture, and performed for the Tulane community.
