Todd Price graduated summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis with an A.B. in Spanish and Comparative Literature. While at WashU, he studied abroad at the University of Salamanca, Spain. He spent a year as a lecturer, teaching English conversation, at the University of Lille, France. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in Early Modern Spanish Literature with a dissertation on the allegorical plays of Calderón de la Barca for the Corpus Christi celebrations of Madrid. His academic research has been published in the Bulletin of Hispanic Studies and Revista Canadiense de Estudios Hispánicos. Professor Price also writes about food, music, and travel for local and national publications. Since 1996, he has been a trustee of the Telluride Association, a non-profit educational foundation.
