Tulane University has begun a major project to modernize the on-line financial system. Tulane Accounting Management Systems, TAMS, is an effort to replace the existing Financial Records System (FRS) with an integrated suite of financial applications from the Oracle Corporation. Our goal is to improve financial management and reporting capabilities of the University by providing improved tools and more timely access to information.
The applications that will be brought on-line are: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Grants Management and Accounts Receivable.
