What is TAMS?

TAMS stands for Tulane Accounting Management Systems and is an integrated system of seven Oracle financial applications.

Some of the TAMS objectives are:

  • Improve the financial information provided to management of the University
  • Improve reporting capabilities by providing increased flexibility and functionality
  • Achieve Year 2000 compliance for the University's financial systems
  • Work towards establishing fully integrated financial systems
