Mary Amelia Douglas-Whited Community Women’s Health Education Center
The Center provides services to the community in many areas of women’s health by facilitating and providing health information and education through a collaborative network of community partners. The mission of the Center is “to design, develop, offer and evaluate innovative, comprehensive women’s health education and health promotion programs to community women.” |

The Mary Amelia Douglas-Whited Community Women’s Health Education Center addresses many health topics including breastfeeding, adolescent health, cardiovascular disease, and sexually transmitted diseases. In order to further educate the community about these and other health topics, the Center provides the community with a wide variety of health education services.
