Louisiana Studies

The Minor in Louisiana Studies draws on the considerable resources of Tulane faculty who specialize in the study of Louisiana, its people, and culture, and on the Howard-Tilton Library, which has a substantial Louisiana collection.

Five courses are required for the minor. Students select three of the following history courses: HISL/HISU 347, HISU 348,393*, or 394*, and take two courses from among the following: CSAN 340, CSAR 131 & 132, ENLS 401, EENS 206, MUSC 189, and any Louisiana Studies course.
