The Newcomb Archives are are open during our regular hours. Visitors traveling from out of town should write or call first. Some weekend and evening appointments are possible.

Location

The Nadine Vorhoff Library and Newcomb Archives are located within the the Newcomb College Center for Research on Women, on the first floor of Caroline Richardson Hall on Newcomb Place. The building is between the Woldenberg Art Center and the Student Health Services Building just inside the Willow Street entrance to Newcomb College, between Broadway and Calhoun Street. Consult the Tulane campus map.

PARKING: During weekends, those who wish to visit the Center may park in front Caroline Richardson Hall. However, during weekdays during the hours 8 AM - 7 PM, if you do not have a Tulane parking permit, you must park in the guest parking lot in the Diboll Parking Structure on Ben Weiner Drive. Street parking is also available on Broadway, on the streets intersecting Broadway, and on Audubon Boulevard. Hint: There is no 2-hour daytime time-restriction on street parking above the stop sign on Audubon Boulevard beween Willow Street and Claiborne Avenue. It's a 4-block walk right down Audubon Boulevard, across Willow Street, and onto Newcomb Place.
