Day Care Issues
The Newcomb Children's Center and Kidopolis will be providing childcare for the children of the Tulane community. Kidopolis will open on January 2, 2006. The Children's Center is scheduled to open on January 2, pending completion of facility repairs.
Kidopolis will accept children for the Spring 2006 term (January-June) ages 6 weeks to 5 years. The Children's Center will accept children ages 12 months to 4 years, and 5-year-olds who are not eligible for kindergarten.
If you have applied for enrollment for your child at either The Children's Center or Kidopolis, you will need to follow all instructions outlined in the enrollment offer letter, including meeting all deadlines, in order to place your child in either of the Tulane facilities.
If you have not applied for enrollment, or not replied to efforts made to contact you by members of either facility, please contact Claudia St. Marie at email@example.com, or (504) 430-7659 at the Children's Center, or Dr. Laurie Lee Richter, Director, Kidopolis Child Development Center at firstname.lastname@example.org, or (504) 416-8112.
Applications for Kidopolis and registrations for the Newcomb Children's Center received by Monday, December 12 will be guaranteed enrollment. Families whose applications or registration materials are received after December 12 will be accepted on a space-available basis only.
Registration materials for the Newcomb Children's Center are available on their website.
Please continue to monitor the Tulane website for updates and additional information regarding child care on a regular basis.
