An orientation session brought Tulane University public health students back together on Wednesday (Jan. 11) for the first time since Hurricane Katrina interrupted the start of school last August. They gathered at the Tidewater Building on Canal Street, home to the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, along with Pierre Buekens (right), dean of the school, which was first institution of higher education to reopen in downtown New Orleans. |
