Kat-5, a high-tech, automated Ford Escape hybrid SUV, motored onto the Tulane campus this week for an appearance near the Boggs Building. A group of Tulane engineering students helped design the car, which came in fourth in the DARPA Grand Challenge on Oct. 8.
