Students gathered on the Gibson Quad on Tuesday (Feb. 14) for an “Imagine Rally” to show support for Newcomb and Tulane colleges as well as the School of Engineering. They signed banners and petitions, wore red “imagine” T-shirts, and marched around Gibson Hall with signs such as “Promote Women’s Education—Save Newcomb.” The students were protesting changes and program cuts in the university’s Renewal Plan.
