Making Mardi Gras music keeps the Tulane University Marching Band busy during the Carnival season. The band made its first public appearances in full uniform for several Mardi Gras parades, including the Rex parade on Fat Tuesday. Band director Barry Spanier reports receiving a warm reception from parade goers all along the routes.
