Lester Lefton took the podium yesterday morning (May 9) at Kent State University and got a presidential welcome. Lefton, who has been senior vice president for academic affairs and provost at Tulane for the past five years, will become Ken State's 11th president, effective July 1. After the announcement in Kent, Ohio, Lefton met with students, faculty and staff.
