Tulane graduates were expecting two U.S. Presidents at commencement on Saturday (May 13), but a visit from comedienne and Emmy Award winner Ellen DeGeneres was a huge surprise. A New Orleans native, DeGeneres (in the white robe) second-lined on stage with President Scott Cowen and then walked down to greet an eager group of Newcomb College graduates.
