Lusher Charter School has newly painted classrooms and library bookshelves thanks to the work of 143 volunteers, many from the Tulane and Lusher communities, including faculty, staff, students and alumni. They cleaned and painted on Saturday (July 22), helping prepare for start of classes at the school on Freret Street, formerly Fortier High School, which will serve sixth through eleventh graders this fall.
