Around the corner from Tulane Hospital and the Tulane University School of Medicine in downtown New Orleans, an ambulance heads to the emergency room. Tulane Hospital reopened in February and now has 200 inpatient beds available. The New Orleans healthcare community is continuing its recovery after Hurricane Katrina.
