On Sept. 11, 2005, artist Steve Tobin, a 1979 Tulane graduate, dedicated his 20-foot bronze sculpture, "Trinity Root," on the corner of Wall Street and Broadway in New York City. It remains the only permanent 9/11 memorial in Lower Manhattan.
