The New Wave

Photo of bronze sculpture

On Sept. 11, 2005, artist Steve Tobin, a 1979 Tulane graduate, dedicated his 20-foot bronze sculpture, "Trinity Root," on the corner of Wall Street and Broadway in New York City. It remains the only permanent 9/11 memorial in Lower Manhattan. Today is the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania that took place on Sept. 11, 2001. (Photo provided by Steve Tobin)
