FAN-TASTIC. The start of Green Wave football season last Saturday (Sept. 8) brings out fans and cheers at the Louisiana Superdome, from the Tulane Marching Band to supporters wearing Tulane colors, and from the mascot Riptide to pom-pom wavers. When Mississippi State University won the game, 38-17, Wave fans were disappointed, but another game is ahead on Saturday (Sept. 15) against the University of Houston at the Superdome.
