The Green Wave football team makes a dramatic entrance onto the field in their first game in the Louisiana Superdome since December 2004. The game against Southern Methodist University was the centerpiece of a festive day that began with students and fans rallying outside of the Dome for a tailgate party and the first Superdome appearance of Tulane's marching band.
