Brown Field, the popular spot for students’ club sports games in front of the Reily Student Recreation Center, is getting a new look this fall. After leveling the field with heavy machinery, left, crews, right, are installing a primary layer to add a new synthetic infield turf system, identical to the playing surface in the Louisiana Superdome.
