The New Wave

The return of greenery is welcomed by all of New Orleans. On the Tulane University uptown campus, Hurricane Katrina brought down many small trees and deposited 600 cubic feet of tree and grounds debris, but much of the green nature of campus remains—including sweet olives, palms and the university's majestic live oaks. Most of the storm debris has been removed, and campus is looking ready for students, faculty and staff to return.
