Tulane University students are brightening the lives of hospitalized children by creating and donating colorful blankets and pillows. Juniors Mara Fisher (at left in first photo) and Marissa Kovner display the blankets on a trip by a group of students to visit children at West Jefferson Medical Center. The students worked together through Tulane University Hillel, a Jewish student organization, to support the initiative by Soaringwords, a nonprofit charity that works to assist ill children and their families.
