The bridge across Tulane Avenue connects the Tulane University Health Sciences Center buildings, which are continuing to undergo renovations from Hurricane Katrina damage. As a signal of progress, a primary-care clinic has opened at the Tulane University Hospital and Clinic on the first floor of the LaSalle Street parking garage, at the corner of Tulane Avenue.
