of Social Work
The Tulane School of Social Work will offer fall and spring semester courses
during the Spring 2006 semester. This semester will be 15 weeks in duration,
beginning in early January and ending in early May. It will accommodate
all students associated with the program.
Courses will be offered for:
-first-semester students who did not enroll as visitors at a host institution
this fall
-first-semester students who enrolled as visitors and are ready for the
second semester
-fourth-semester students who did not enroll as visitors at a host institution
this fall
-all cohorts of part time students and
-all PhD students
Continuing first-year students will be able to progress through the regular
curriculum on a continuous basis without interruption following the spring
semester with a full Summer 2006 semester, followed by a regular Fall
2006 and Spring 2007 semester.
Fourth-semester students who complete their coursework at a host institution
during the Fall 2005 semester will be able to graduate in December 2005
upon completing all requirements for the MSW degree. Fourth-semester students
returning to Tulane to complete the fourth semester in spring 2006 will
be able to do so during the spring and graduate at the regular unified
university commencement at the end of the Spring 2006 semester. Back
