Age Heaping Example
Run a frequency of child's age in months for the bdeshc.sav
data set by clicking Statistics, then Summarize, and then Frequencies
and choose the variable chage. A table of frequencies will appear showing
the percentage of children that fall in each age category. It will be apparent that
there are often double the number in the 12 month intervals and also increases in the 6
month intervals. Did you find there were 1.4% in the 11 month age group while there were
3.4% in the 12 month group?
