Univariate Statistics I introduces basic statistical procedures used by psychologists and other scientists. These procedures include analysis of variance (ANOVA) simple and multiple linear regression, chi-square, and tests subsequent to ANOVA. Psyc609 is required for all first year psychology doctoral students; on rare occasions, the graduate psychology program's requirement of Psyc609 is waived by the instructor. Students are expected to abide by the Honor Code


With the exceptions detailed in the supplemental syllabus, the requirements and coverage for Psyc609 are identical to those of Psyc209. Note: This course previously was number Psyc667. Credit will not be awarded for both Psyc667 and Psyc609
