The Annual Meeting of the Louisiana Conference of the American Association of
University Professors will be held on Sunday, April 9 in Stanley Thomas Hall
(Engineering Building) 101 on the Tulane University campus in New Orleans. The
featured guest will be General Secretary Roger Bowen.

8:30 to 10:00 Continental breakfast

10:00 to 12:00. Open forum with General Secretary Roger Bowen on current tenure
and faculty governance concerns in Louisiana

12:00 to 1:00 Lunch (please mark your selection)
Olive Blue Catering will provide sandwiches; choose:

________Ham Roasted
The lunch also includes pasta,salad,chips, and cookie.

1:00-2:30 Panel session on the responses of public and private institutions in
Louisiana to post-Katrina/Rita conditions. Participating will be faculty
members from Tulane University, Loyola University, University of New Orleans,
Southern University in New Orleans, LSU Health Sciences Center.

2:30 election of officers for the 2006-2008 term

The attendance fee, which includes continental breakfast and lunch, is $20 and
will be collected at the door by the Conference treasurer.

New Orleans colleagues will help those coming from out of town to locate hotel
accommodations as needed. Anyone wishing assistance should contact Conference
