Prehealth - How to Prepare

In the fall of your junior year attend the Preprofessional Advisor's Prehealth Application meeting to open an application file in the Office of Preprofessional Advising.

In the spring semester of your junior year:

  • Request letters of recommendation from faculty
  • Draft your application essay
  • Compile your resume of activities
  • Prepare for your admission test
  • Complete your Health Profession Committee interview.
  • Take your admission test by the end of the spring semester
  • Start filling out your applications and turn them in during the summer.

Fall or early spring of your senior year begin professional school interviews.
