The Alumni Scholarship Program
Providing Expense Sholarships of $600 to members entering health professional
schools.
Maurice L. and Charlotte M. Moore Scholarhip
Providing a Scholarship of $1000 annually to a member from each region financed
by dues assessment to active members as authorized by the 1980 Convention.
The Scalpel
An outstanding journal on premedical education.
The AED Newsletter
A source of information on admissions, professional education, health
professional schools, and publications of interest to members, sent three times during the
school year to all active members in chapters.
Convention Programs
Arranging an informative three-day educational program for members, other
interested students and advisors during which contacts and liaison are provided with
admissions officials and faculty of professional schools and leaders of the medical
professions. Travel allowances are provided for delegates and faculty advisors in
attendance.
Membership Services
Maintaining the Society's membership rolls and archives and providing services
for the more than 124,000 members.
Chapter Services
Assisting and providing encouragement and supplies for programs and activities to
all chapters.
Alumni Activities
Expanding efforts to establish contact with alumni and maintain an up-to-date
mailing list to inform them of AED activities, progress and accomplishments, and solicit
