About the Birmingham Club

The Tulane Club of Birmingham, Alabama is an active group of local alumni who organize social, educational, and cultural activities for Tulane alumni in the Birmingham area. The club is a constituent member of the Tulane Alumni Association (TAA). Founded in 1898, TAA provides a forum for meaningful involvement and interaction among the university’s 105,000 alumni, its students, and university leaders.

Our club is undergoing a rejuvenation with great interest from recent graduates and longtime alumni. We look forward to our club growing and participating in local and national events. In recent years our alumni functions have included crawfish boils, happy hour receptions, and Tulane football and basketball pre-game parties at the UAB game.

Activities of the club are planned and organized by local alumni with the assistance of the Tulane Office of Alumni Affairs. Therefore, your ideas and your help are always welcome. Please contact the club’s leaders on the “Club Leadership” page if you would like to get involved.
