About
the Columbia Club
The
Tulane Club of Columbia (SC) is a group of active Tulane alumni
living in the Midlands and Upstate of South Carolina. There are
over 350 Tulane alumni living in the Columbia, SC area. The club
is a member of the Tulane Alumni Association (TAA), which association
was founded in 1898. The TAA provides a forum for meaningful involvement
and interaction among the university’s 105,000 alumni, its students,
and university leaders.
The
Columbia Club began in 2002 and plans many events for 2003 including
a Mardi Gras party in February, a crawfish boil with the Charleston
Club, happy hours, sports-watching parties, and a holiday party.
Activities
of the club are planned and organized by local alumni with the assistance
of the Tulane Office of Alumni Affairs. Your ideas and your help
are always welcome! Please contact the club’s leaders on the “Club
Leadership” page if you would like to get involved.
