ASTJ 204 Intermediate Japanese 2 This is the fourth semester of the Japanese language course. Students have studied the normal polite form of the language for the last three semesters so that they can communicate with any native speaker of the Japanese language without offending their feelings. This semester students will focus on the plain (casual) form of the language so that they will have the natural communication with their Japanese peers, and also they can communicate with Japanese children without awkwardness.. In short students will study different speech levels and styles so that they can use appropriate language forms and styles depending upon the situation. |
