May 21 & 22: ISTANBUL. Flight from New Orleans to Istanbul; transfer to hotel in Sultan Ahmet District; Evening, visit Kapali Çarsi
May 23, ISTANBUL. Morning Visit: Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia, Cistern of Justinian (Yerebatan Saray); Afternoon: Mosaic Museum, Church of SS. Sergius and Bacchus, Sultan Ahmet Camii (Blue Mosque)
May 24, ISTANBUL. Morning, Archaeological Museum; Museum of Turkish and Islamic Ars; Afternoon: Museum and main palace of Topkapi. Special arrangement to visit Hagia Eirene through the ministry of culture. Reception in hotel for friends and alumni of Tulane, and staff of ARIT in Istanbul.
May 25, ISTANBUL. Morning, Church of the Savior in Chora (Kariye Camii), Theodosian Walls from Palace of Constantine Porphyrogenitus (Tekfur Saray) to Kerkaporta Gate, Ayazma of Blachernae., Towers of Isaac Angelus and Anemas. Afternoon: Church of Mary Pammakaristos (Fethiye Camii), Church of St. George (Orthodox Patriarchate), and Süleymaniye Camii.
May 26, BURSA. Drive from Istanbul to Bursa (Prusa) via NICAEA (Iznik). At Nicaea, visit the northern and eastern walls, Church of Mary Theotokos, and Archaeological Museum. Lunch at Nicaea). Drive to BURSA (Prusa); visit Ulu Camii, Yeil Camii and Yeil Türbe, and markets of Koza Han
May 27, ÇANAKKALE. Visit en route GRANICUS RIVER (Biga Çayi); Archaeological Museum at Çanakkale; Afternoon: Visit excavations at TROY; Evening Military Museum.
May 28, BERGAMA Visit ASSUS, Temple of Athena, Hellenistic Walls, and Lower City. Drive to Bergama (PERGAMUM).
May 29, BERGAMA. Morning, Visit the Upper and Middle City of Pergamum, Kizil Avlu (Temple of Serapis), Archaeological Museum. Afternoon, Visit Asclepieion.
May 30, SELCUK . Leave Bergama via Manisa (Magnesia sub Sipylum) for Bin Tepe (tumuli of Lydian kings) and excavations at SARDES. Leave Sardes for Selcuk (Ephesus) via Kemalpaa (Nymphaeum), visiting the Hittite Rock Relief at Karabel Geç and the Tomb of Antiochus II at BELEVI.
May 31, SELCUK . Visit of EPHESUS. Morning visit Upper City, Temple of Serapis, Theater and Arcadiane, Church of Mary Theotokos; Artemisium. Afternoon, Church of St. John and Archaeological Museum. Late afternoon visit of excavations at Metropolis (Torbal) by director Professor Recep Meriç.
June 1, SELCUK , Excursion from Selcuk for PRIENE (planned Classical city), MILETUS (Archaic Tombs and Roman city), and DIDYMA (shrine of Apollo).
June 2, PAMUKKALE. Leave Selçuk and drive to Pamukkale, en route visit APHRODISIAS. Arrive at Pamukkale (late afternoon).

June 3, FETHIYE Visit HIERAPOLIS (Pamukkale): Archaeological Museum, St. Philip's basilica, Roman city and necropolis. Leave Pamukkale for. Late Afternoon drive to Fethiye (Telmessus) with Lycian rock tombs and theater.
June 4, KAS. Morning, Leave Fethiye for Kas (Antiphellus). Morning, Visit PINARA, LETOON, and fortress at PYDNA; Afternoon, Visit XANTHOS en route to Kas.
June 5, KAS. Excursion from Kas by boat to visit Limyra, Arasada, Cyaneae and Gürses.
June 6, ANTALYA. Depart for Antalya (Attalia). Morning visit en route the sanctuary of Apollo at Sura, Myra (St. Nicholas, Roman theater, Lycian rock tombs), and Roman harbor of Andriace. Afternoon, visit Chimera and Lycian city of Olympus. Arrive at Antalya.
June 7, ANTALYA. Morning Visit Gate of Hadrian, and Archaeological Museum; afternoon free.

June 8, ALANYA. Morning, Visit PERGE (Roman city, theater, stadium) and ASPENDUS (theater and citadel). Arrive ALANYA (Coracesium).
June 9, SILIFKE. Morning, Visit the castle of Alanya. Drive to Susanoglu, to east of Silifke (Seleucia ad Calycadnum), visiting en route the excavations at ANEMURIUM.
June 10, SILIFKE, Morning, Visit temple tombs of IMBORGION (Demircli) and Roman city DIOCAESAREA (Uzuncaburç; Roman city and Temple of Zeus). Afternoon Archaeological Museum at Silifke; shrine of St. Thecla, and Kanlidivane (Neapolis), and, if possible, the rock reliefs at Adamkaylar
June 11, KONYA. Leave Susanoglu (Silifke) for Konya. Morning; Visit Byzantine church at ALAHAN. Afternoon, Arrive Konya. Visit Melvana Museum, Selim Camii, and Bazaar.
June 12, GÜZELYURT. Visit Byzantine churches at Güzelyurt, Kizil Kilise ("Red Church"), and Çanl Kilise (Middle Byzantine settlement). GÜZELYURT: Excursion to PERISTREMA VALLEY (Byzantine Rock Churches).
June 13, GÖREME. Leave Güzelyurt for Göreme. Afternoon: Visit Soganli Valley.
June 14, GÖREME. Visit Byzantine church at Eski Gümüs, Derinkuyu (Byzantine underground city of refuge). Visit Open Air Museum at Göreme, and Çavusin. Visit Zelev.

June 16, ANKARA. Morning, Archaeological Museum, Anit Kabir (Mausoleum of Kemal Atatürk); Afternoon, Excursion to GORDIUM (Phrygian capital and tomb of Midas). Evening, Reception and dinner with friends and alumni of Tulane, staff of ARIT and BIAA, and members of the Gordium excavation teams
