SCHEDULES

The following calendar lists all dates for band camp, rehearsals, and performances for the Tulane University Marching Band.

BAND CAMP: Band camp 2009 will be held on the Tulane University campus from August 11-22. Drumline reports to campus on August 11, drum majors on August 12, section leaders on August 13, and colorguard and all other brass & woodwinds on August 15. Housing and meals are provided. Days are fully scheduled from 8:00am until 8:00pm. All of the fundamental techniques of our performance foundation are introduced and drilled. Our pre-game show and first half-time shows will be taught. Music will be made available during the summer. Check back periodically on this website for updates.

REGULAR FALL WEEKLY REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: The TUMB rehearses on a weekly basis:

• Monday 5:15-7:15
• Wednesday 5:15-7:15
• Friday 4:00-6:00

In addition, the TUMB will also rehearse on selective Saturday mornings prior to home football games in the Louisiana Superdome. These dates and call times will be updated to the calendar when the details are solidified.

Performances: All performance dates are listed on the calendar. Football games listed in brown are away games in which the TUMB will not be present. The TUMB will perform in post-season games at which the Green Wave is participating, including C-USA championship game and/or other bowl game. A quick list of all performances:

MARDI GRAS: The Tulane University Marching Band is featured in some of the biggest and most beloved Mardi Gras parades. Our performances bring the Tulane faithful to their feet and energize the entire community with the Green Wave spirit. Watch for the band again at Mardi Gras in 2010!
